When it comes to the aspect of life, detachment plays an important role. For example in a rocket, most of the parts detach from the main rocket after their temporary use such as boosters and fuel pods. In this scenario, these parts can be compared to the body which plays a small/temporary role in the cycle of life. These parts are meant to be detached after their use otherwise they might act as extra weight and drag the entire rocket. The most important part of the rocket is the satellite. This can be compared to the Atma. The purpose of the other parts of the ship is to propel the satellite upwards and detach after their use. Just like this, We are not supposed to give too much importance to the temporary parts such as the body and have to detach from this materialistic world in order to push the Atma towards salvation and spiritual bliss.
