Learnings from a Football game

Game Vs Life
This article gives insight into the similarities between common games such as football and the means to attain eternal bliss.
These games can be considered to be entertaining and fun but are never considered to possess any hidden truths or in-depth meanings. These games do not, in fact, possess any such truths but their goals or means of achieving some goals are quite similar to that of attaining salvation.

Teams and Goals
In the game of football, there are two teams and two goals. Each team should try and score the ball in the opponent's goal and prevent the opponents from scoring in their goal. The players can be compared to the atmas of livings beings. Your teammates have a goal which is similar to yours and the opponents have a goal which is against yours.
In the game, your objective is to score the ball into the goal and in life it is to attain eternal bliss.

In the game, your objective is to score the ball into the goal and in life it is to attain eternal bliss.

Players - Surrounding People
A player cannot complete score a goal all by himself and is dependent on his teammates. His teammates can be compared to people of satvik nature and his opponents of rajasik nature. A player cannot keep the ball to himself and must pass it to his teammates otherwise he might lose it to his opponents. Now the decisions of the player about whom to pass the ball and how determines whether he succeeds or not. Similarly the activities that one indulges in and the people one associates with determines if one reaches their objective of eternal bliss.

Smart Passes - Spiritual Progress
If the ball is passed to the teammates in such a manner where they can advance to the goal easily, the chances of the opponent stealing the ball are very low and the goal can be achieved very quickly.
From a spiritual point of view, your mind has to be passed on to (influenced by) people or activities of satvik nature in order to achieve your goal quickly and easily.

The Ultimate Goal - The Eternal Bliss
Unlike the game of football, where the goal is clearly identified. the ultimate goal in real life is not, or better said not well recognized by the masses.
