King (Paramatma)

Paramatma gives swatantrium (freedom) to Jeevatma and his senses. When we move away from Him, He won't interfere instead will simply watch our movements. As we go closer to Him, we will come under His protection.
Queen (Jeevatma)
​
With Atma gnanam, the Queen will go in the right direction. Therefore eliminating exposure to the enemies (Rajo, Tamo, ahankara, mamakaaram - self-centered). Otherwise, the Queen will misuse her powers, finally putting the Atma in trouble.
Elephants
​
Elephants (Ahankaram, Mamakaram) when controlled by Seshatvam (Kainkaryam-service) and Paaratantriyam (Sharanagathi-surrender) can add great strength. Being aware of the fact that Bhagawan is Seshi (Master of the universe) and we are His sesha (servants but being treated by Bhagawan as His children), then only we will be interested in doing kainkaryam out of gratitude for giving us a body with senses, especially the sixth sense to understand Him and explore ways to reach Him. Similarly, when we get to know that all of us are His property and being a property, we have to let Him use us as per His wish (as He mentions in the Shastra) instead of putting efforts for adding properties to us.
Bishops

Bishops (Shastra, Paramatma Gnanam) - Veda Vedanta Knowledge. With value education, we can gain proper knowledge which can take us towards Bhagawan and can give peace, contentment and happiness. Otherwise, we will engage ourselves in gaining knowledge for material benefits only, resulting in restlessness, greediness and depression which will take us away from Bhagawan.
Knights
Horses (Ten senses Karmendriya, Gnendriya), can be used for Spiritual development when controlled by Karmanushtanam and Atma Paramatma Gnam. Without any control, in the name of freedom, these senses may take us towards endless material pleasures and hops everywhere, ended up putting Atma in major trouble.
