The Skinny Title

Internal Enemies
Krishna explained the nature of Kama and krodha through 3 examples.

As smoke and fire are inseparable, Atma and krodha are inseparable
Dirt on the mirror. As we try to wipe mirror, it will be resettled after a while. We may think that we have cleared Kama krodha. The next day it will resettle.
Since the embryo is covered by the womb, the garba canno’t come out on its own. It requires the help of someone either from the doctor or mother or Paramatma. Similarly Kama krodha cannot be cleared on its own. For that we require the help of Acharya or Bhagawan.

Krishna conveyed three messages to us through these parallels.

Kama krodha -
Inseparable from Atma like smoke and fire.
Resettled like dirt on mirror.
Cannot be cleared on own without the help of Acharya and Bhagawan.
He ends the third chapter saying “Kama krodha are your internal enemies. Try to win that over”
